Help! My son is ripping off every bib including his feeding bib - baby bjorn plastic one. What bib will stay on and catch his mess? He's one so a bib is critical for eating ...right now he's eating naked

at that age both my DS and DD ripped off bibs (Bjorn softbib, cloth ones, the washable kind, whatever) i never found one that would stay on well. the ones that lasted longest were the ones with snaps (instead of velcro), but even then my kids soon figured it out, or my DD would scream until I took it off
![]() past 12mo they would just eat w/o bibs, and i put mats under their chairs to catch mess. at 15mos my DD never wears them...thankfully she's gotten better at eating. i actually like it now w/o bibs, bc it's one less thing to wash (even with a bib she was still soiling her clothes when eating) one thing i do with DS when he does painting is wear an art smock that covers the whole front... i think some folks use that for eating instead of bibs. |

Silly Billyz - best bibs on the planet! Our bibs from DD1s toddler days are 4-5 years old and still going strong! Nothing is ripped or damaged after all this time; they're incredible. We have the bib style not sleeved style.

My rec is for the long sleeved Kushies bibs like this: http://www.kushiesonline.com/Taffeta...74-b277-44.htm DS was a total escape artist but never managed to get one of these off
Even after the messy eating stage we continued to use these for drawing and other art projects.

A little late, but you could also try the IKEA long sleeve bibs.. but my kid was resistant at about that age..
