Default Follow up Question in OP: Water shoes?

Update Question: DD now has bleeding toes from being in the pool. I bought the water socks from Target, but I can't get them on her feet, nor on DS's, so I guess they will need to go back in hopes of finding something else. I see that One Step Ahead has water socks but they get mixed reviews. Can anyone recommend anything else or give me any other suggestions?
Since we have a pool, we will likely be in the pool nearly every day this summer and I don't want DD to have bleeding toes all season.

Anyone want to recommend water shoes that dc can wear in the pool?

I gave up. Tried Rei and a few other places. Too heavy really IMO for swimming unless I wanted to spend over $50. My budget was more like under 30/pr.

I always get the cheap Target ones (for myself & DS - I have the next 3 sizes that I picked up for <$3 on clearance). They are very light and have flexible bottoms that make it real easy to walk on rocks and climb.

I have learned the bigger sizes sell out quickly.

We have the speedo from target too, but for splash days at school. They'd probably stay on great in the pool (bungee cord thingy to tighten) but I can't imagine swimming with them on.

We use the speedo swim socks (also from Target). They have enough of a rubber grib layer on the bottom to protect feet from rocks and hot concrete.

Sports Authority has them for $7. Kmart has them for $6. Target also has them, but for twice the $$. Five below also sells them, but I felt those fell apart much faster.

My kids do just fine with the walmart ones. $5 or less. Last all summer for us.

Oh no!!! The Speedo water socks definitely run really snug - any chance you can size up? And FWIW, I can get them on DD's feet (I bunch them up cuff to toes and really stretch to get over the toes first, then sort of un-bunch them up the rest of the foot), but DH can't do it no matter how hard he tries.

You could also try the Speedo water shoes from Target.
