Default Yeast infection help...tmi warning

I haven't had one in forever, but after wearing a sweaty bathing suit all day Saturday, I thought I'd come down with a yeast infection. Monday I took a Diflucan I had already filled but didn't need once, and ibthought it may be improving Tuesday, but today, it's gotten to the driving.me.bananas.itching point .

How long does it take for Diflucan to work? could it be something else? I have very little discharge and zero odor . Sorry tmi.

Our insurance is crap, so I'd end up paying prob $200 to see the gyn about this....ugh. Help!

I would probably get Monistat as well, to relieve the itching until the Diflucan kicks in. I don't think they would be an overdose together.

It could be that it isn't yeast, but a bacteria type infection.

Raw Garlic. peal a clove, cut it into chunks and swallow like a pill. you can also use a whole clove internally. and rinse with dilute vinegar a few times daily

Honestly I would go to the doctor. Could be vaginosis and no yeast medicine is going to help you if you have that. Vaginosis is an imbalance in the good and bad flora, you may need an antibiotic if it's too out of hand. It can present in many ways including the way you are describing...little discharge, itching, no odor.
