Default Snow Cones?

Can anyone recommend a snow cone machine? It seems the reviews I am reading on Amazon are generally quite mixed. Are the ones that you crank by hand better or are they a complete PITB? We love our icey treats here!

We have the Back to Basics one, it was a gift. It works great (plug in). I'm sure there are cheaper versions, but this one works great (is loud). We use it almost daily in the summer. We have the dual cone maker (not really necessary), amazon has this one:

Found it, we have this one: http://www.snowballcone.com/Consumer...ce-Shaver.html

A friend gave DS1 the Jelly Belly sno cone maker for his birthday last weekend. We have used it once so far. Seems fine.

ETA: she attached a target gift receipt so it seems you can get it there.

We have had one from Victorio for about 1.5 yrs. We use it year round & there have been no issues. I highly recommend it.

we just use our blender-so if you have been thinking about getting one you might be able to use it for both. I just have the basic ninja pulse. I can do a ton of ice quickly and then divvy it up in cups for us all
