I just got the Nook with Glowlight and LOVE it!!!! I upgraded from the nook simple touch because I read in the dark/dim light most of the time. I felt a little wasteful buying another one, but it was worth it to me.

Anyway, I don't ever wish I had a hard copy. I read more now because the nook eliminates clutter in our house. Also, it is SO much easier for me to read with the Nook one-handed vs a traditional book because I often read while nursing.

It is also really easy to download library books.

Hope that helps!!!

There are a few parenting books I've bought hard copies of that I'm glad I did - I like to mark key sections with a Post-It for DH to read.

But for most general reading - library books and purchased ones - I absolutely love the Kindle.

@stinkyfeet, off topic, but how bright is the glow light in a totally dark room? My led book light for my regular nook is bright enough I put purple plastic wrap on it to dim it. iPad is crazy bright,
Even on lowest setting.

It is not too bright. I put it on one of the lowest settings, and it is very comfortable for my eyes. I like the Glowlight better than the LED light I used for the Nook Simple Touch because it is a softer light. It doesn't get hot either.

One thing I did notice was that during the sunset hours, it seems as though the lighting at the top of the Nook is a little brighter than the rest of it. It did not detract from my reading though. Once it got darker, it didn't seem that way at all.

Overall, I am really happy with the product and surprised it took them this long to make one.
