There is no possibility we could have another child but for some reason I am going through major baby mode. I talked to a friend and she thinks it's because I will be 36 this year and TT is turning 4. I have never had baby fever this bad. When will this end?

I've been hit hard with baby fever in the last few months too. I think it may be because our babies are really not babies anymore. Mine just turned 7. It is so hard because I flip flop literally daily. I get that intense desire to have another and then my 2 make a simple trip to the store such a PITA I start telling myself that there is no way in H*ll that I want to add to the chaos that I already have in my life! And then I get to hold a neighbors baby or see an adorable infant in a stroller and the baby fever kicks back in. My husband is not 100% closed to the idea of a 3rd but then he tells me that he is perfectly content with our family and would be happy to quit while we're ahead and close the chapter! Doesn't make things any easier for me. I suppose hearing a bunch of people on this board say that having a 3rd really changed things and was really rough doesn't help either!
Since you say there is no possibility for you, I hope that the baby fever cools off soon! |

Thank you! I hope the fever breaks soon too. The more I think about it, it might have to do with the aspect of us having to move.

Me too. For me, its seeing DD2 growing up, almost 17 months, seeing the interesting age passing by and knowing that I won't have another going through this age hurts and it makes me feel so down. When DD1 was getting older I was ok as I knew we'll definitely have another.
There's nothing medically that's stopping us from attempting another. In fact everyone's telling us we should have another and that we need a son. But financially it'll be hard to make it work comfortably with 3, plus there's no guarantee that its going to be a boy. I hope the feeling will pass away soon.
