Default Quick-drying nail polish for little girls?

My girls had such a blast getting nail polish on today (the "polish" was actually just 2 coats of clear Sally Hansen ridge filler, LOL) but I'd love to take them out to get a light pink color to put on top (and I say light pink only because I suck at applying nail polish and a light pink will look neater if I'm not perfect with application). Is there any particular brand that dries quickly? Should I got to Ulta or just a regular drugstore?

We use Piggy Paint here - no toxic fumes or chemicals of concern. Local toy stores have them, also the Children's Place, or you can buy it online.

I don't know of any polish brand that will actually dry a lot faster than the others. But, you can get a quick-dry top coat -- it will just take a few minutes to dry and become non-dentable. I've been using the one from Sally Hansen lately. It comes in a red bottle but it's actually clear when you apply it.

Ulta has the Essence brand now, which is good quality and comes in small bottles that you might actually use up. It only costs $1, too, so the girls can pick out more than one color without breaking the bank. But the drugstore brands are fine too.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri- this is the only nail polish I buy because I always mess up my polish within seconds. Pedal Pusher is a nice barely there pale pink.

Excuse me, are you in a play?

Thanks for the recs. I know absolutely nothing about polish! I was at Ulta before I saw some of these responses so I ended up buying a bottle of Zoya based on past threads. Shelby, a bubble gum pink shade. Next time I will definitely get the insta-dry, because that might motivate me to paint my own nails! They're watching TV as their polish dries

And I totally need to look for the Essence brand - I was shocked at how expensive nail polish is!! So I made both girls decide on just a single color. Hahaha.

I started using that myself after reading a comment in a blog, saying how she puts it on her nails before leaving the house, and it dries in the car. I don't use it on my nails if I have to buckle my son's harness; too chicken! But I use it for a quick pedi before I go out, or a quick mani when settling down to watch TV after putting the kids to bed.

I also use Essie Good to Go top coat over regular polish, if I want to use one of my many, many non-insta-dry polishes.
