Default Non-traditional lullaby CDs?

I tried to find what I was looking for on Amazon, and I'm not finding it! UGH!

I'm looking for some CDs of non-traditional lullabies (is that spelled right? spell check says it is, but it looks weird!). I remember there being some "rock" lullaby CDs, and I'm looking for things like that. Anything to break up the monotony of sweet baby songs.

Suggestions?

You want the Rockabye Baby collection!

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...=rockabye+baby

We have Aerosmith and The Beatles. I would also love to get the U2 and Led Zep ones!

I also have some yoga-ish ones that I like.

Music to Open the Heart and Calm the Mind (maybe recommended from someone here?)

Deep Sleep - Relaxing Music to Help You Sleep

Yeah! We also enjoy the Radiohead one :-) We also used to enjoy the Postal Service and (to a lesser extent) Death Cab for Cutie for sleepytime/relaxing music. Maybe a bit of a strange choice given the pulsing beats, but they're really hypnotic and mellow.

This is just a couple of songs...but TMBG's "Sleepwalkers" and the backwards ABC song are beautiful songs. The backwards ABC would work better as a lullalby (simple melody, easy to sing), and Sleepwalkers is just a beautiful song.

I made a "buy it now" list, a "buy it next" list, and a "buy it when the others annoy you in a month" list. Bob's on the 3rd list, so glad to hear that it's a good one!

I buy songs from Amazon and put them on mix cds that we start playing for the bedtime routine hour. Many of them are from cds already mentioned, but I also have songs by Liquid Mind from their Lullaby cd. It's very relaxing music, the songs are lengthy, and there's even a warning about listening to it while driving! One of my favorite songs right now is the version (instrumental) of You Are My Sunshine by Lullaby Experts. Whether I'm reading a book to DS or playing on the floor with him when it comes on, I get choked up and teary-eyed... the version is really beautiful.
