Question Update #10: Ideas for a duvet cover to match these sheets

They are the hibiscus sheets from Pottery Barn Kids. DD2's walls are a light mint green, and her bed frame will be dark brown. I don't want a quilt as my mom is making one, so just a duvet or a comforter.

I think a nice bright white would be really pretty. These are probably a little too frou frou for a chid, but I thought I would post since Anthropologie has some beautiful quilts on sale.

A solid one from Ikea would work and the $$ is right if you have one near you!

Elbenn, love the second duvet cover from Anthropologie, but yeah not for a 2 yr. old.

We bought DD1's duvet cover from Ikea and we love it. I looked on their website and didn't see much that is just plain (DD1's is a floral print), but there are two Ikeas near me so next time we are there we'll look. The bed won't even be here until the beginning of August so I have some time. I also have a couple of other quilts we can use as well so really it isn't a high priority, plus DD2's room is pretty warm and it won't get cold here until maybe late September. I did end up just buying this blanket in bright pink because I think pink might look kind of cute with the sheets as well, but also have it in light blue from DD1 so I can always just switch if need be.

I would go with solid white. Any stains can be bleached out. It is always fresh and crisp.

Solid navy would be nice, too but may look too heavy if the bed is the dominant feature in the room as it is in many rooms.

I think the pink will be nice with those sheets. Do you mind sharing where the blankets are from?

the blankets are from Pottery Barn as well. Very competively priced with Kohls, and Macy's so I ordered since it was free shipping as well.

I didn't think about getting just plain white for the blanket.

I don't know if you want plain white or if you already have a duvet or comforter for inside a cover, but if you do, I like this:

if you don't, what about a matelasse coverlet that doesn't require an insert, since you've already got a quilt?

update:
I ended up ordering this one from PBK last night. My mom is making a Sun Bonnet Sue style quilt with vintage style fabrics in it so I think this wil go nicely as well. I know it isn't a perfect match for the sheets, but at this point I don't really care. The sheets will probably get used by DD1 as well. I also really like the butterfly sheets, but they are back ordered for the time being and hopefully once they aren't back ordered it will be fall and they will then be on sale. I also have a plain pink sheets, and floral sheets in similar colors as well.
