Well I gave the Gizehs a try, but they going back. They didn't look right on my feet. It is hard to explain, but since my foot is so wide they just looked weird. It is soo funny I hadn't thought about buying another pair of Birks until the other day, but now even after trying on the Gizehs and just wearing them around the house for an hour I remembered how comfortable the footbeds were, but I am just not sure there is a style that is right for me.
Wonder if something like one of these would work, Grenada, Sydney, or MadridFlorida?

i do find that they require an adjustment - at least for me, they were not super comfortable right away. the piece between your toe is hard and the shoe/sole is not soft/flexible...so your foot has to adapt.

but once you break it in and your used to it, i find them extremely comfortable - much easier on your feet if you're walking a lot.

i used to wear flip flops constantly and i started to feel a lot of pain in the bottoms of my feet from just the constant pounding without much support underneath me
is the titanium gold or silver?
