Default Need a carrier for a 2 month old that does not want to be put down

My 2 month old (13 lbs.) does not want to be put down. I carry him around all day long! My house is starting to fall apart, as I am behind on laundry, dusting..... I am looking for a carrier that will allow me to get some housework done while carrying him around. I have never used a carrier before (I'm more of a stroller addict) and I don't think that I will use a carrier longer then 6-8 months (hoping he will be able to sit and play independently for short times at that age).

What would you suggest?

i used a Sleepywrap (a stretchy wrap similar to a moby wrap) with my DD at that age.
she too never wanted to be put down, ever...i had a 14mo too so there was no way I could attend to her all the time. Sleepywrap was great. I never really used carriers much with DS, and I too wasn't into babywearing really... but with DD there was just no way around it. I eventually got really used to it.

One word: Pikkolo. PM me if you have more questions. I loved it from 1-12 months, and it's more or less fool proof (so perfect for me!).

I loved my Bjorn at that age. Kept DD close while I did laundry, cooked, nursed. It was perfect.

If you are in AC or a cool climate, try finding a used KKAFP. DSO is in love with ours - we use it several times a day for fussy britches. Also like moby and Gemini but pouch is baby's fave.

I love our moby for that age! I too had a little one who never ever wanted to be put down, and also had/has a vicious case of reflux and needed to be upright almost all the time, and the moby was truly a life saver for me! It provides tons of support and allows you to be completely hands free!
