How to get your husband to actually "Start" that project!

Sorry I couldn't resist! This has been our biggest challenge since buying our home 2 yrs ago this June. Our home was "move-in" condition, so we created a "decorating plan" and prioritized the rooms deciding that each year we would completely furnish and decorate ONE room, so that we wouldn't be overwhelmed.

Well, as much as I "nag" this just isn't getting done. I keep asking if I can hire the decorator (he promised) or I show him the ideas I have...and nothing.

So, my suggestion would be to make a room by room plan and prioritize the house. (i.e. How many of us actually use those formal living rooms? Don't put all your money there first. Put together the rooms you do actually "live" in.)

My plea would be: How do we stick to it???
