Default Suggest a toy like the current Wendy's kids meal toy?

We stopped by Wendy's a few days ago and the current toy are these things called Smart Links.

They don't seem to be a real product you can buy aside from in the meal...

Naturally my kids love them. We got a fair number and I could get a fair number more if I went out and bought 3 more meals but wanted to see if someone could suggest something like them I can buy on their own?? They're just these plastic shapes that fit together in a bunch of nifty ways.

I know at McD's you can just go and buy the toy without having to buy the meal. Maybe Wendy's will let you do that too.

OH this is so funny! My 3 year old loves these Smart Links! We had to go to Wendy's last night to get 2 more happy meals so he could make more things out of them.

He's been making star wars ships out of them and flying them around the house. I had been thinking of looking them up to see if you could purchase more somehow.

Every now and then you get some crazy actually GOOD toy in a kids meal... LOL

I will have to see if I can buy some sets alone.

They look similar to the connectagons but not exactly... have to see what DS thinks of those.

If he likes the building animals aspect of it, have you looked at zoo morphs?

They are a big hit at our house and have been for several years! You might be able to find them at an independent toy store and definitely online.

Nah, he doesn't use the faces or anything. He just makes this big symmettrical creations.

Anyone have those connectagons?? How durable are they? Will they stand up to twin 2-going-on-3s?
