Default Need recommendations for a bassinet

Hi--

My DS is now 11 1/2 weeks old and just over 15 lbs. Since day one he has slept in the bassinet portion of the Chicco Playard, next to our bed. According to the manufacturer, the weight limit is 15 lbs, so Im looking for new sleeping option for him. He has had issues with reflux, so Im not comfortable putting him in his crib/room just yet. Bringing the crib into our room is out of the question, as it is a fairly large piece of furniture and simply doesn't fit with everything else in our room.

So, in short, he's too big for the playard bassinet, but not ready for the transition to his own crib/room. I don't want to spend a lot of $$ on another contraption that he'll outgrow in a few months when he does go to his own crib (I plan to move him there at about 6-7 months.)

Thx

Have you thought about the rock 'n play sleeper? DS has been sleeping in it everynight and I do think he is more comfortable in the position. My target had the bunny one for $55 http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-D...7082654&sr=8-2

My son had reflux issues too and slept in that next to our bed for a while. It seemed to help to be more upright and it was a nice, small, portable sleeping option. The weight limit is 25 lbs so that would give you more time til the crib.

He actually spends a lot of the day in the rock n play, but I had not considered using it for night time sleep...
