Our guy is awesome. He is constantly bringing all the stuff I order online (thanks in no small part to you ladies) up to the door. Today he brought the heavy box of books I ordered from Sortfloorbooks.com up to the door and waited for my slow pregnant butt to answer - IN THE RAIN.
Starbucks card? Target? Someplace nicer? And for how much? Any ideas other than gift cards? |

i usually get him a gift card to wawa, it's a convenience store chain in PA, i figure he can use it for coffee or lunch. i've read that there is a max gift allowed of $20 per carrier imposed by post office and they actually discourage gifts especially cash, but i love our carrier and have always given him something.

I was just talking to my neighbor about this today. She said you can't give cash - in MN anyway. She gives cookies to our mail carrier. I may do the same. He always has a smile for me as he drags all the stuff I order online too!

Well, you're not supposed to give cash, but it doesn't mean they won't accept it.
![]() I love my Mailman. The girls love Bob, the Mailman. He's definitely one of the coolest guys. Last year, we gave him stuff from Stonewall Kitchen. Haven't thought about this year. *sigh* -m

We have two mail carriers. I don't know their names, but I'd like to give the one- the nice one!- something, but I don't really know what their schedule is. It seems like it could be either on any given day. Do I give to both? Do you give it to them personally or leave it in your mailbox?

Find out their names. I wrote our mail carrier's name on the wrapped box and placed it in our mailbox.
