Default Morigeau Cribs

I am interested in buying a convertible Morigeau crib, but my sister in law who has one has been unhappy with hers becuase she said taht it was very difficult to lower the mattress (it involved turning the crib over) and the side rail broke (now stays in up only position).

Has anyone else had any problems with this?

I have a Morigeau crib, and while changing the height of the mattress wasn't exactly easy, it wasn't brain surgery. Take out mattress, and frame, remove 4 bolts, have someone hold frame for you while you replace bolts in lower position.

We haven't had any problems with the side rail either. Maybe your SIL needs to call Morigeau and get it replaced?

Did you have any problem getting a bumper to fit it? The crib seemed larger than others and the pottery barn bumper we had didn't fit all the way around.

No, I didn't have any problems with the bumper fitting it. We went to BRU and got a Carters bumper pad. The single color ones were not of a very good quality (the tie fell off in my hand when I put it on), but the plaid ones are excellent. We have the light yellow with blue plaid in his room.

Hope this helps.
