I'm sorry, I know this question has been asked a ton of times already, and I've read over all the posts several times, but am still confused. Here are my questions:
- Do we need a fitted waterproof mattress pad? - If so, will it make the sheet fit less tight or well? e.g. because it's extra fabric and bulk? - What brands are recommended? Should we get the thinnest one available or is it okay to have a little soft padding in them? I plan to get the sheet savers, and have already got one ultimate crib sheet (although I haven't yet tried it, so don't know if it will work with my solid foot and headboard). I just don't want to ruin our mattress, or have it stain at all. Tammy, Mom-to-be Mar 8, 2003! |

If the UCS works for you, you don't need anything else. I have nothing else and my mattress looks brand new.
