Until recently I had heard all good things about forever mine and was strongly considering them. Now I have read some recent posts on this page from people who have had trouble with them. I guess I would like to get an idea of whether these are just some isolated incidents, or if this company is bad news. Please post your experience. Thanks!

We ordered our furniture from Forever Mine in March and still do not have it. We totally fell in love with the furniture, but the customer service has been awful. Unless you order this week, you probably will not have it by your due date. Tomorrow is the end of the line for us. We went today to a local baby store that carries Berg furniture and can get us what we want this week. So if we call Forever Mine tomorrow and they still haven't shipped, we are cancelling. Every time we call we get a different story and a different shipment date that is later than the previous date. Also, it is next to impossible to speak to a manager and when we have, they have been very rude to my husband. The furniture looks so nice and the wood samples were great too, but the hassel of dealing with the company is not worth it. Good luck to you!

We had the same BAD experience. We ordered a crib and it took 6 months to get it to us. They kept telling us "just another 4-6 weeks" multiple times. We were fed up, but waited - luckily we placed the order early. Even still, it did NOT arrive before the baby was born! I have recently read they had a fire at their warehouse - they never told us once about that.
When the crib finally arrived, the holes for one of the rails did not line up properly! Not only that, but they use threaded plug inserts to hold the screws in - which came out of two of the holes and the crib literally fell apart! We called them and they said to put vasoline on the screws and not to overtighten. We didn't overtighten the screws. This place is NOT recommended. We will likely be asking for a refund. Either way, our daughter is not going to sleep in a crib that falls apart. To their credit, the wood seems like good quality, but that doesn't matter given the mentioned problems. Jamie Morgan |

I was having difficutly with them for a little bit, but I spoke with them and they have definately changed my mind about them. I asked to speak with the owner and he reassured me that I would get my items, and sure enough I did.

I ordered a spindle crib in cherry finish for my daughter who was born in November of 2003.
The order was delayed significantly, and the crib had warped pieces and the spindles were not sanded properly when it finally arrived. Since then we have had nothing but trouble from the drop side on this crib. We have been through 6 sets of plastic latches that make the drop side work (they keep breaking!!). We truly have a lemon, and the customer service has continually gone downhill since I first ordered from them. Also, they are no longer honoring their original "lifetime guarantee" which was in effect when I ordered this crib from them. Beautiful furniture, but I will never order from them again! BUYER BEWARE!!! ~Khrys. |
