Default need advice - big baby

My son is 8 weeks old and is already outgrowing his bassinet. I am not ready to move him into his room yet. I am debating between a pack n play, a mini co-sleeper or a portable crib. I am trying to not use up a lot of space which is why I dont really want to use our pack n play. He is about 15 pounds now, I dont know how long but he only has an inch of length on either end of the bassinet.

Default RE: need advice - big baby

Per the manufacturers safety info, the mini-cosleeper is only good for a baby up to the age of 3 months (its mattress is the same size as a standard bassinet) so that won't help you much. A portable crib might get you another month or so on the lowest setting but once your baby starts to push up (in just another month or so), you are going to want him in a pack and play or a real crib. You might want to try your crib if you already have one -- with a monitor, its not much different than having him right next to you.
Good luck.
