I/m due Nov 17 with baby girl child #2. Still undecided about this bumper( must be the hormones) I just found out I will have to buy a crib, SIL's was going to lend me hers but that will not be happening.:(
My children will be less than 15 months apart. so I don't want to force my son out of his crib just yet. This more for safety than for any other reason. Wishing you lots of healthy wishes Stephanie |

Has anyone tried this out IRL yet? I've only had to get up in the middle of the night to help DS get his leg back in the crib once, but I've had to get up to retrieve pacis knocked out of the crib too many times to count.

HI there-
I just received this bumper from Walmart.com a couple of days ago. My son is due any day now so I haven't actually 'tried' it but I did get it on my crib and it looks wonderful! It is actually satin lined on the top and bottom so it's a little more decorative than I had expected. It fits flush to the crib and is a great mesh fabric. I would recommend it to anyone-like me- who has reservations about using a standard decorative bumper. By the way- my crib is white so it blends nicely. I'm not sure what it would look like on a wooden crib. HTH Abbey *Ü* |

We'll probably buy this, too. I was thinking that maybe we'd try to dye it a coordinating color. Does anyone who has this already think the fabric would take to Rit dye? If not, I guess we're only out $20, which beats paying $40-$70 for a darling-but-not-necessarily-safe bumper.
I'd love to hear how mom's like it after they've tried it. Shinda |
