summer weight comforter/blanket

DS still loves his crib (22 mo) and I am in a desperate search for a lightweight comforter for the summer. For the winter we had a Company Kids down comforter but now it's just too warm for that. How about the Company Kids Lacrosse Jr. blanket? Anyone have this? Too warm? Anyone other suggestions would be wonderful.

Have you thought about using a light weight baby sized quilt? That's what we use on our 4 year old's and on our bed in the summers (Georgia). I know that both Target and Khols have them on clearance now. Any crib sized cotton blanket should do the trick too.
