Carter's Outlet return policy

I'm in the process of adopting a baby from China and have been doing a little "retail therapy" during the paperchase. It's been tough to not buy clothes, but we won't get her until Spring 2004 and she can be anywhere from 9 to 18 months at the time!

I was very excited to find out that Carter's Outlet stores will accept returns (with receipt and tags) indefinitely, meaning I can shop now and return next year when she gets here.

Just FYI, many department stores have the same policy. You may want to check your local department stores as well. In my area, Lazarus (a Federated store) and Kaufmann's and Lord & Taylor (May Company stores) will accept returns for any reason. Also, Baby Gap will accept returns indefinitely.
