Default FYI - My stride rite discounted natural motion shoes

Just wanted to let everyone know that my local stride rite included the sr natural motion system shoes in their buy one get one half off discount (even though the coupon says they are not). Also, you didn't need the coupon. So maybe other stores are doing this also. It's worth it to call and check.

That's great!
My store didn't do that, so I guess it depends on the store?

I'm going to suspect that the person who rang you up was a new person to the store and doesn't know the details of the coupon. I've been to several stride rite stores over the past 5years and NEVER have I been able to get the natural motion shoes (or even now, the toddler tech and kid tech shoes) in their buy 1, get 1/2 off 2nd.

The salesperson was definetely not new- she's been there since at least last Sept when I started shopping there. I think she might even be the manager. For anyone near me it's the stride rite store in Roosevelt Field.

I just bought shoes on Sunday and they would not include the natural motion in the promotion. The woman mentioned that several people had walked out on her when she said she could not include them in the promo, she said she could lose her job.

You mean the Roosevelt Field in Long Island, Garden City?
If so, that would be great, I'm like 20 minutes away. I will keep that in mind for the next promotion...

Yes, RF in Garden city. I couldn't believe it either but they said every shoe in the store was included and no coupon needed. Can't say if they will do this again. Maybe they are trying to boost sales??

My store lets you use the natural motion as your full price pair, but not as the half price pair. Wish they did!

It depends on the store and if the manager will let you. I was lucky enough to use the NMS as the full price pair, and got a pair of Robeez as the second pair. I was also able to use a $5 off coupon on the transaction too. They did say neither the coupon nor the NMS apply to the sale, but they let me do it anyway. Maybe because I was the last transaction of the day...
