Beach photo suggestions

We are having photos taken on the beach in May, and I would like Maya to wear all white. Have you seen any really pretty white dresses or outfits anywhere?

I used to work for Strasburg and they have some of the prettiest slip dresses and white cotton dresses for girls! The prices are not cheap, but they are so perfect for beach portraits!

Check with the photographer too. They often have some "wardrobe selections" for their clients, especially if he/she specializes in beach photos which are traditionally done in all-white attire. Unless you'd have another use for the dress or just want one. Just a thought!

Osh Kosh has a really cute all white slip dress out right now. I got one at our local outlet store. It was about $25.

It's so much fun looking at little girls clothing...not quite the same searching through boys wear.

Your post is motivating me to start thinking about our family photo which will be on the beach in July. My mother-in-law wants all of us to wear white.

Anyone out there have ideas for my one year old son and myself?

I really like a line of smocked dresses called Sarah Louise that are carried in many specialty shops. You might also check www.jordanmarie.com, they sometimes have one or two smocked bishop style dresses in mostly white.

Who is doing your photos and where are you having them done? There is a Pittsburgh photographer we are thinking of using that does sessions both at Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach.

ETA: This one is really sweet and actually says beach dress in the description!

Oh my, these are all SO cute. This is going to be a tough decision..

We are going to Hilton Head on vacation, so that is where our photo shoot will be. We haven't decided on a photographer yer. Who is the photographer from Pittsburgh?

Well, I guess we will also have to find an outfit for DH and I. I haven't even thought of us, LOL! I am such a Mom...
