Default Do Hanna playdresses improve with washing?

Does the fabric become or seem thicker and softer, is I guess what I'm trying to ask. We have one that I got gently used on eBay, and it seems so much thicker and softer than the one I just got during the sale. I haven't washed the new one, and I seem to remember reading somewhere that Hannas actually get better with washing. Am I remembering correctly? The new one just seems so thin compared to the other we have!

ETA - Does the same thing apply to zippers?

It does get thicker and softer (and also slightly fuzzier) with washing, in my experience. So my guess is that after a few washes, your new hannas should feel the same :)

As for zippers, I am not sure. To me, it doesn't change much.
