Default What happens if...re: Gymbuck

I noticed in Gymboree yesterday that some things I bought last week on the double Visa discount day were marked down even more. I had bought just enough to get a Gymbuck. If I go back for a PA, will I lose my Gymbuck if the total falls under $50?? Just wondering!

yes, unless you buy more stuff to equal the amount you are getting back. Then they staple the new receipt along with the old one.

I do this all the time. Might as well get as much for my money as I can.

Karen,

How long do you have to take back a receipt for a price reduction? I just bought some things on Saturday and want to wait as long as possible before taking the receipt back so I can save the most $$$.

Can you tell I haven't been in a Gymboree in awhile.. You guys are dangerous in this forum!!!

Thanks,
Mary

It says on the back of the receipt - either 10 or 14 days. I do this all the time as well. I have about 3 receipts stuck to my gymbuck :).

So gymbucks aren't accepted without a receipt attached?

No, Gymbucks are only valid if attached to the corresponding receipts.

Do you have to be in a "gymbuck earning period" to be able to buy new stuff to keep the gymbuck? Like if I were to return some things today, would they still let me buy more things today to keep the gymbuck I earned a few weeks ago?

I just went to the store yesterday and returned all but one item on 1 Gymbuck and they let me repurchase to keep the Gymbuck. I asked the sales associate beforehand though, as I've heard different things from people. Some stores let you, some don't. I've done this so many times already that I have a lot of receipts attached to my Gymbucks. I just asked the SA first because I was pretty returning everything. Also, they've given me a price adjustment on items from another Gymbuck. They're pretty nice to me considering they don't really know me like some other repeat customers.
