Default Yellow Rain Slicker

I am looking for a yellow rain slicker for my son, who will be a year old in May. I would really love the typical slicker with a hood. Any ideas where I can find one in 12-18 months. Most of the ones I have seen are for big boys. I, of course, love the Anorak at Hanna, but am holding out for a code! Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

They have a traditional yellow slicker at Lands' End but they don't start until size 2T. You might be able to get away with that size, though, if you cuff the sleeves. I often buy jackets a size or two big so that they fit over heavier clothing and so that they can be worn for two years since they are a more expensive item.

Have you looked at ebay? Since a rain slicker for a one year old will most likely not be used that much, you should be able to fine a very good deal on ebay, I think.

Another idea: Baby Gap makes yellow rain slickers almost every year, with navy jersey lining for baby boys. There is a good chance that they will be doing that this year, too, I think.

We got one on LLBean for about $20. It's yellow and cute. I think they run a wee bit small.

I've seen the yellow one in the babyGap stores, but saw a navy one online.

Good luck!

In case you didn't find one yet, Talbot's Kids has an adorable one with frogs on the trim... it's not the real "classic," but it sure is a cute take-off on the classic!
