Default Looking for a cute girl's swimsuit

Have you found a cute girl's swimsuit for this summer yet? I am not having any luck finding something that I like this season! I was counting on Lands End to put out some cute Tankinis (my fave style for DD), but none of their prints really float my boat. Just wondering what you have found in the way of cute swimsuits. Please help!I'm afraid if I wait too long, all the good suits will be long since sold out.

Thanks,

Hanna Andersson has a couple of cute tankinis. A little pricey, but I'm betting the quality is great. I've never bought one of their swimsuits, but I'm considering the striped tankini for my DD.

Check out www.bestdressedkids.com too. They have a good selection of swimsuits.

I saw some adorable Flapdoodles suits at Lord and Taylor.

Janie and Jack has some cute ones too. I also second Talbots - just gorgeous.

Oh, and, I saw some really cute ones at BRU. They look like knockoffs of Gymbo's Tulip print from last year.

Cute things here:

Our local Costco has Speedo one-piece suits for $11.99! That is a great price and they are great quality. They are one-piece, no tankini's, but some of the colors and prints are great!

Heidi, I bought 2 of those for Kathleen for this summer. Adorable prints I thought!

Stephanie, check out LL Bean. I got Kathleen a top and bottom from their swim separates line:

This is what I got Kathleen and it is the cutest suit, plus it fits really well. She loves it, and the funny thing is that she really wanted one this year where she could show off her little belly!

Maureen,

I'm loving these options, but I'm afraid that they would be to big for Emma. She is just now starting to wear a 3 in regular clothes. I usually do size up in swimwear, but maybe you can tell me how these run based on what size K is wearing? I tried a 4 in a Kate Mack suit, and it was way too big, not snug at all and surely would fall off in the water. My local store that carries Kate Mack didn't have any 3's.

Thanks,

Maybe a size 4 would work for Emma? I ordered Kathleen size 5 in both pieces (like you, I usually size up in swimsuits too). And I was afraid they might be too small. They actually fit her perfectly now--hope they will last all summer (although I'm pretty sure they will). They are not baggy at all, but fit really well. And the funny thing is that while we were waiting on them to arrive, Kathleen tried on a cute little tankini at Target that was in the big girls section, size XS/4. The top fit fine. The bottoms were so baggy on her, there was no way she would fill it out. Plus, they were so high-cut. UGH! Well, then we try the LL Bean suit on when it arrived and it fit perfectly even though it's a size bigger. She's tall for 3, but a skinny little thing. She is 44 inches tall and 36 pounds.

Good luck! HTH! :)

The Kate Mack suits come in smaller sizes, I got the "poolside princess" suit in a 2T.
