Well, I did a little shopping for EP today :-) .
But before I share pictures, can I tell you that I STILL haven't received my HA catalog. I'm going crazy waiting!! OK, enough complaining... I went to J&J today and picked out a few new outfits. I am only going to keep one of the blue floral outfits (I love the blue with EP's blue eyes), so I need you all to help me choose :) . And I also need help with sizing. The pics aren't very good today. EP was not a willing model. First, the blue floral pants and the blue top. The pants are an 18-24. They are supposed to be cropped, but are full-length on my tiny girl. The waist is a little big, but okay. The top is also an 18-24. If I keep this outfit, should I keep the 18-24 top or size up to the 2T? Next is the blue floral one-piece. It is a 12-18 month and is still a little long. I bought the onesie in a 2T size and it is really big, but works okay since it is a onesie. However, I don't really like the one-piece with the onesie at all. It looks much cuter without it. If I keep the one-piece without the onesie, she can't wear it until the weather is much warmer. Would you put a full-length outfit on a child in the summer? So, which blue floral outfit do you like best? Finally, I also bought this outfit. The pants are 18-24. They are meant to be cropped (and will eventually, I hope!). The tee is also 18-24. Should I size up to a 2T or stay with the 18-24 Please ignore EP's tears-- she was tired of all of the wardrobe changes! I'll post pics of the Baby Gap stuff next. |

I personally like the 2 pants outfits better than the onepiece. And yes, I'd size up in the tee unless you think she'd be SWIMMING in it.
She's sooo cute and looks so much older than she did, even at Christmas time, wow!! LOVE the blue on her, btw! |

Awwww, she is so cute! That last pic made me want to cry with her...I'm such a softie.
Anyway, I love love love the first outfit. I think the second one is adorable without the onesie but I agree, it might be hard to find the right weather for it...unless the fabric is very light, in which case it should be fine. I think all the sizes are great in the first two outfits but would size up the tee in the last one. Love those pants with the white piping on the pockets! Best, Mary |

Marie,
My hands-down favorite is outfit #1. I have it for both my girls, and I'm having a crazy time getting pants to fit my skinny minnie baby. The 12-18 were HUGE, and now I have a 6-12 which are still really BIG, but I refuse to buy a 3-6 month size for my nearly one-year-old child! I don't think it looks like you need to size up on the top, but you probably could and not have it look too big if you wanted to. I agree about the one-piece. Love it alone, don't care for it with the onesie. I probably wouldn't put a pants outfit on my child in the summer, but it gets very hot where I live during that time of year. I'm not as crazy about the 3rd outfit, but I think it's because the blue is absolutely fabulous on EP! Hope you get your HA catalog soon! |

I've been loving the Baby Gap layette lines lately. EP easily fits into the 18-24 month size for spring. So, the spring items are definites (I'm just sharing pics of them). However, I need your opinion as to whether the 18-24s will work for the summer.
Here is an outfit from their recent butterfly line. The jeans are 12-18 and the top is 18-24. And here is the same outfit with the matching butterfly coat which I *love* :-). The coat is 18-24. And I bought a couple things from the new layette line. I love the preppy, tennis look. Some of the pieces from this line really remind me of Gymboree's Tip Toe Tulip line. I'm just concerned about the sizing. It just seems strange to still be buying layette for my almost 2 year old. All of these pieces are 18-24. First, the polo style tennis dress: Next is a skort (is it crazy to buy a white skort?) and a polo shirt. The skort fits fine (is a little big actually). I'm only questioning the shirt. So, what do you think? Any and all opinions welcome! |

EP sounds like she's about the same size as Holden..... he could still wear babygap layette 18-24months tops til august (almost 2.5yrs) and could wear the pants til late fall in November! It was wild!
I LOVE the butterfly stuff on her.... soo sweet, and fun looking!! Now me personally? I don't like the green dress on her all that much, I guess because the other stuff looks SO cute on her. Plus, it doesn't look like it has much (if any) growing room. Plus, I don't like the waist on the dress. The 2nd outfit (the striped shirt w/ white skort) is SOOOOOO cute!! I LOVE IT!!! |

Thanks, Jenn! I appreciate your opinion! But did you *have* to bring up how much older she looks? Sniff, sniff... I'm having a hard time dealing with the fact that she'll be two next month :-( . I can't imagine not having a baby.

I thought I'd give you a good cry ;) . I know-- mean Mommy!
BTW, thanks for the opinions! I appreciate it. The fabric on the one-piece is pretty thin, but I'm still not sure about it. Maybe the first outfit will be better. |

I love these outfits on her - especially the butterfly pieces. Although I'm a fan of J + J, for some reason I think the Gap clothes suit her better. It seems like her personality comes out more in these outfits. It could be that these outfits fit her better too. The J + J outfits look a bit too baggy. She looks so cute in the preppy look!
