Default Got our LE squall snowsuit

I've seen some posts about this snowsuit so thought I'd post our little review :) HTH

We ordererd the red and navy snowsuit and red flurry boots on Wed and they came yesterday. Billy LOVES the snowsuit and boots and immediately put the boots on and wanted to play outside in them :)

I wasn't sure if I was going to love the snowsuit but it's great. It will be very warm and I love how it totally zips down the front and the leg. Billy can just about take it on and off by himself and I'm sure by the time winter comes he will be able to. Same with the boots, he was getting impatient while I unpacked the rest of the box and put the boots on himself, he had no problems opening the velcro, putting them on and closing the velcro. We had these boots last year and really liked them.

I'm glad I went ahead and got the 3t though. Billy is tall, 38.5 inches with a long torso and he has about 2-3 inches of growth in the legs but only about 1.2 inches in the rise. The 2t would have been too small. I'm hoping these go on sale later and I am going to get the 4t for next year too. I think this will be easier for him to unzip and take off than other snow suits once he's potty trained too.

My son is two months older than yours, and I was assuming he is too old for a snowsuit...yours doesn't mind putting it on? I'm trying to figure out the warmest coat on Land's End or LLBean, but maybe the snowsuit is the best bet?

Billy doesn't mind putting it on at all, I think it is because he can pretty much do it all himself except for starting the zipper at the bottom of the leg. He is very much into doing everything himself right now and loves zippers so this is pretty cool according to him :)
