I feel like a child at Christmas with the impending Hanna Sale on Thursday, so someone please help me manage my expectations! I'm new to Hanna and would like to get a sense of what makes this a "great sale". Are we talking 50% off? More? Less? I'll be ordering online, if that makes a difference.
p.s. What do you think of the line for ladies? How does the sizing run? Thanks!

Hanna is never really a great sale, in comparison to other sales. Great sale for Hanna is just that, since there prices generally only go so low.
I'd say that you're looking at 30-50% off of the original price, but it varies on the items and their popularity. Most things, the discount will be closer to 30-40%. I've found that I could have done better on some things that are already marked down when they had the 20% off sale at the store. All this said, I'm still placing a big order, since a Hanna sale is a Hanna sale! Have fun!

Yep, the discounts will be big for Hanna, but not huge.
I've had some womens' clothes from Hanna and loved some, wasn't thrilled with others. My favorite recent discovery is that kids' boxy tees in size 160 fit me! (I'm probably a size 6-8 in most lines). In general, I think Hanna clothes for adults run large. When the sizes are S/M/L etc, I need an XS or S. In their numbered sizes, I've had everything from a 4 to an 8, so it really seems to depend on the items. I'm planning to look at beach pants for myself and some more tees, which are SUPER comfortable. I probably wouldn't buy anything else for myself, but have found terrific deals on womens' clothes at the outlet in Kittery. I may also grab another playdress or two for my girls. Other than that, I will resist. I think. ;) |

The playdress price will be the same as it is now...$28. Just an FYI. If you are planning on buying it, you might as well pick it up now, before the madness.

Yup, you got the bug! I love hanna! But even at sale prices, it is high! But the quality can't be beat IMO. I love the zippers and you can get some really great prices at the outlets. If you give the outlet your name and email, they email awesome coupons! My last one was 50% off one item! I ended up getting a playdress, pants and socks for $26! Not bad! Have fun!

Just came back from the Hanna store at Valley Fair. They already have the store set up for the sale. The opposite striped bike shorts are marked down to $8. Regular bike shorts. The socks matching the playdresses are $6 for 2 pair.
Other prices I remember: Souvenir Sundress $22, Oh so happy dress $24, Color the dots flip flops $8, underwear 3pks for $10. |
