Default fun and/or funky socks for a *boy*

Hello...ever since my son was born seven months ago, I have been on a somewhat failed mission to find fun socks for him. (With my daughter, I had no problem...cute girlie things are everywhere!). For a while I satisfied this urge with the Trumpette socks, but he has since outgrown them. I pick up GAPs unusual ones, when I see them, but I was hoping that someone out there would have other recommendations? Nice patterns, bright colors...anything but just white, navy or grey. All suggestions greatly apprecited! Thanks so much!

There is a store chain called Sox Appeal that has lots of fun socks. Check to see if there is one in your city.

I have never ordered from here but they have a ton of interesting looking, fun socks. Website organization is a bit lacking but you might want to browse.:

Check the girls' section of the stores. At Old Navy, for example, I found some for my ds in the girls section that could be for a boy or girl IMO. They didn't have anything that was ground-breaking exciting, but at least it will get you away from just white, navy, and gray!

trumpette makes a lot of really neat, funk socks. And, they stay on! But, they only fit until about 18 months of that, (come in newborn and toddler sizes- one size each).

Thank you all so much for your suggestions! I love the mismatch socks--I am going to get some for my daughter. Also, I hit a jackpot of argyle and stipes at Old Navy...Again, Thank you!
