Default Holiday Dress

A family wedding is coming up and I was looking for a cute winter dress for DD (2yrs old) that we can also use in the family holiday photos and that won't break the bank. What are your favourite places for formal festive kiddie dresses?

Have you read/ posted on the Rality Layette board? This is ahot topic over there.

I will say that I saw adorable holiday dresses at Old Navy. Target also has some cute things. Obviously quality won't be as high as some other stores but it's not so terrible. And for something like a one time occaision (or a handful) I bet they would wear just fine.

I'm lusting over this dress for Maddy:

The 24 mo would fit Maddy, YMMV. ;)

Wow- I love this dress and may be lusting over it as well. I have it now bookmarked so I can show DH. For someone that cares little about clothes, he is picky about holiday dresses.

BTW-I guess you and I think a lot alike tonight! :)

LOL Daniella!! Actually I've been drooling over that one for about a month. I wish we could swing it! It is just the perfect shade of green and I love the detailed embroidery.
Sigh, need to banish it from my thoughts. I've already got a Christmas dress for her (and matching vest for J).

I have not...I need to head that way, most days I just look at the Longe and kinda catch up. Thanks for the tip!

OK, lusting is the right word. That dress is just too beautiful. I need to get it, just have to figure out how to spend all that money!

Okay, now you got me lusting after that dress too. Hmm, now how to convince DH that we need it, and not just that we want it!
