Default best source for preemie clothes?

looks like i'm gonna have a preemie, so we'll need to get at least a couple weeks' worth of clothes that will fit our teeny bitty baby....where should i look? i know carter's has some stuff in preemie sizes, unfortunately i'm on bed rest so i have to be able to order online. any ideas? i'm thinking soft cotton basics...nothing crazy...and at least one outfit that we can take his first coming home pictures in. TIA!

Gap.com has some cute stuff - and you can order online.

Hope all goes well with the new baby!!

Edited to add: Don't know how early your little guy is going to be, or how small..but they also have a size called "up to 7 lbs." Madeline wasn't a preemie, she was only two weeks early, but she only weighed 5 lbs. 5 oz. She was 4 1bs. 14 oz when we took her home from the hospital. We bought several things in this size for her, and she wore them for a while. One good thing is that this size is often on clearance.

Amy came home at 5 lbs 8 ounces and what fit her best was Gymbo and The Childrens Place. They both have a "up to 7 pounds size". Don't buy too much preemie stuff though until you KNOW what size your baby is. Amy only wore that stuff for maybe 3 weeks. But I enjoyed having things that really fit her.

Believe it or not, I have found a lot of cute Child of Mine brand made by Carters at Walmart. They are really affordable too, like $5 for a 1 piece button up sleeper. Not sure if they have them online, but maybe you DH could grab a few for you.

DD was a bit bigger - she came home at just under 7 lbs and Gymbo preemie and Gap preemie (now called newborn size) fit her well. DS was a true preemie - he came home at 5 1/2 lbs and I really liked Little Me Preemie and Gap preemie for him. TCP preemie was actually too small!

Well I figured I would need preemie clothes for the twins and I did but all the brands mentioned above were too big for one of my twins. He was 5 lbs 14 oz and had no fat so he was very small and by the time we left the hospital he was 4 lbs 6 oz and still with no fat. I ended up ordering from preemie site because nothing fit him right and I felt he needed something that fit okay since we were treking back and forth to the nicu to see his twin. I ended up getting a few things that were nicu approved so his twin could wear some clothing in the nicu.

I ordered from the following places and was quite pleased:
http://www.preemie.com/
http://www.preemiesrus.com/

One of the twins was in clothing from these stores for about 2 weeks but the prices I felt were cheap at the time (haven't looked lately) and the other was in them for almost 5 weeks before he put on fat.

He won't be wearing preemie for long so don't buy too much! But it is nice to have things that fit right. My DD came home at 4lbs 14oz and she was swimming in 0-3 months clothes.

My son was 4 pounds 15 ounces and we got a lot of wear of Little Me preemie sleepers for about a month.

Good luck shopping!

Ditto on the Gymbo, Gap and Children's Place. A few more are www.preemie.com and www.preemiesrus.com. I had two preemies. One was 3lbs 14 oz and the other was 4lbs 9oz. Also familar with the bedrest ordeal and trying to stay sain. Be careful not to buy too many to start because you don't know if your little one will stay little our try to catch up with the others. Preemies are so unpredictable in my book. One of my children stayed small and the other became what's considered average.
If I can be of anymore help let me know.
