Default narrow shoes for 16 month girl

Does anyone know where I can find narrow shoes for my little one? Are there any brands that tend to run more on the narrow side? I had no idea how difficult it would be to find! I appreciate any advice.
Thanks

I think New Balance has narrow widths. Not sure of other brands though. HTH!

We find the medium width stride rites to be super narrow.

I'm always plugging this site but I love their stuff

www.softstarshoes.com.

They'll customize widths and they even accommodate kids with orthopedic deformities, etc. If you get stuck, that's one option.

Thanks for the ideas! I'll check them out! The Stride Rite by me wasn't very helpful. We did try a few medium, but they were still a bit to wide. Maybe in a different style.
Thanks again for the ideas!

If you live near a Corporate-owned Stride Rite, I've found them to be the best. They can order anything for you. I know I've seen some Narrow width ones at the outlets, so they do make them.

Click on 'store locator' http://www.striderite.com/
The ones with the # after them are the corporate ones. I've not found the others to be extremely helpful in finding me things they don't have in stock.

DD has narrow feet & I've had good luck with Jumping Jacks. We've only had their sandals, though, and both straps could be adjusted so maybe that's what helped.

I have tried several different brands for my narrow-footed boys but Stride Rite medium width shoes are the best fitting for them. Even in the medium width, some styles are cut wider than others. Depends on the shape of the shoe.

HTH!

Keds seem to run narrow. They consistently fit DD best. The Lands End toddler action sandals also work for her because they have two adjustable straps. There are some in overstocks right now, mostly in size 5:

But lots of other sandals are like that, too.
