Is Greendog a good brand?

I buy most of my 3y.o. son's clothes at children's resale shops, since money is tight and kids grow so fast. Yesterday at one I saw quite a few pieces by Greendog. I'm not familiar with that brand. Does anyone know it? Is their quality good? I bought a sweater for $4 and it seems nice and thick and appears to be hardly worn, but I'm wondering how it will last. If it's a good brand I might go back and get some of the other pieces I saw.

Greendog is carried by Macy's. It seems to be nice, my daughter has quite a few pieces and they are very affordable and they wear well.

I love this brand! I buy it at thrift/resale/consignment shops as well, and saw it at Nordie's recently. I find that it washes/holds up well and is really cute. Lucky girl that you have a selection!

I like it. I thought it was a private label Macy's brand, but maybe not if someone saw it at Nordstrom's? I wouldn't pay a ton for it, but sale prices (or even better at resale shops!) are good.

I buy my DS GreenDog. I buy it at Macy's. It's pretty inexpensive to begin with but even better when it goes on sale. It's always held up well for us.

My sister has bought a ton of this stuff from Macy's for Jonah. It's adorable and wears relatively well. She gets most of it on sale and said it's VERY inexpensive!

I only have one outfit from that brand, but I believe it is the Macy's store brand.

I agree with previous posters. I bought mine at Macy's at the end of the season. It is CHEAP when you get it on sale. The quality is better than Kohls and ON in my opinions. Their items can be coordinated with each other.

Just another positive rec - we've received several outfits/pieces NWT as hand me downs and I've been very pleased. I actually specifically asked the person who gave them to us where Greendog could be purchased because I liked the items so much! Macy's was the answer I got too :).

Another thumbs up for Greendog ...... it washes and wears really well. It is the only brand of jeans and cargo pants right now that fit are little guy ~ chubby with short legs! Macy's always has great sales on GD - even their new stuff coming out for fall has been on sale. Plus this past weekend, I picked up several GD short sleeve polo's for next spring/summer for wearing to daycare for $1.98 - $2.34 each.
