Default are Keds very flexible?

DD has only been walking a lot for 6 weeks or so, so she is still falling sometimes. She wears mainly soft-soled shoes, and has a pair of Target cheapies with a very thin flexible rubber sole. I am looking for a basic shoe that she will be able to wear with lots of outfits and Keds sprang to mind. Are Keds' soles very flexible? If not, I'll probably order some Pedoodles.

I need something that she can wear with different colors and realize that so far she has 2 pairs of brown shoes, some white Stride Rites that look too summery to wear much longer, and a pair of pink/ green/ yellow SR sneakers that I think may not be flexible enough for now. I bought them at an outlet in early July, so I am keeping them, but want something else with a more flexible sole.

Keds are great. A few years ago we were at the pediatric orthepedic doctor and I asked about DC's keds. He said they were some of the best shoes you can put your child in. DC's been in keds ever since.

Hope that helps.

One thing to keep in mind is that they seem to run narrow...My dd barely measures wide and the Wide in Keds seemed narrow...maybe if you went up a size it would help!

Thanks, ladies. DD does have a wide foot, so I should probably take her somewhere to try on if I can. Glad to know they are flexible!
