has anyone ever used the Fisher Price "Close to Me" playpen with removable bassinet? Is the Graco really that much better?

Never tried that one. I have 2 Graco's (one for me & one at my sis's) & another brand (at my mom's) I can't think of.

My Graco's are EASY to set up, the other one is not so. I really loved having my Graco b/c it had a night light, full bassinet, music & a vibrate feature. Nolan slept there for about the 1st 4 mos.

We have the FP Close to Me and love it! We used the bassinet with the stand for the first 3-4 months until DD outgrew it lengthwise and then put her in her crib at night. We use the play yard during the day when we need to duck out of the room for a minute or two and need to keep her contained now that she is mobile.
