Default Tricycle opinons needed :)

Jenna has the Family Trike by Radio Flyer (which I know is not a fave here, but I got a GREAT deal on it so I couldn't pass it up!) and while it has been great with the pushbar on back, I think she is ready to start trying to learn to pedal for herself. (at least I want to start giving her practice.) However, the RF trike is just too tippy for my tastes to put her on it all on her own, especially out here on our rural roads and gravel driveway.

I found the Schwinn Roadster trike at Costco yesterday for $59 and it seemed pretty solid - has an adjustable seat and air tires. Here is a pic/more info:

Does anyone have this trike or know anything about it?

Of course Kettler is also on my list, but I think I would have to have the Air tires and even at the co-op price (which I missed anyway)it is $110 plus shipping and not sure I want to or can spend that much RIGHT NOW (the Christmas budget is already getting thin!).

So I guess my question is:

Should I get the Scwhinn at Costco - at $59 it SEEMS like a good deal and would serve my needs (non-tippy, adj seat, air tires)
OR
Should I save and get the Kettler (hopefully through another co-op next year). (or just splurge and get the Kettler now at full price if it is super awesome??)

I think the Kettler Coop is going on through Monday because we didn't meet the 30 trike mark by the deadline. Debbie extended it for another week but you would need to order this weekend. You may want to search for the old threads where Neve explains about it being extended. I have been doing a lot of trike research and I think the Kettler is the best deal for the money. The quality is awesome.
