Default DESPERATE!! Have you seen this toy anywhere?? Please help me!!

I should have bought it last summer! But I didn't since
my son was only 7 months old. (My husband thought I was
totally nuts!)
Well, now the item is no longer being made!

I'm looking for the John Deere Weed Trimmer Toy.
I have been searching all over the internet with no luck.
Has anyone seen one?? Maybe you have seen one in a store?
Please let me know and I will call the store to get it!!
(No luck on Ebay either!)

I would absolutely love to find it!!! Thank you so much
for your help!! Please keep your eyes wide-open for
the John Deere Weed Trimmer toy!! :)
Here is a picture of it.

Corie,
Check Target--maybe not online, I don't know, but I saw an unusual number of John Deere items in the store the last time I was there. I think for this kind of thing, you should check the seasonal/gardening aisle in addition to the toy aisle.

Cori,
I think I saw one on our craigslist. I will check and see if it can get it for you.

ETA: It's actually in Grapevine. Here is the link to it.

If you aren't able to get it TRU has the Home Depot sets that are cute. Jackson has the HD weedeater and blower and loves them.

Hi Tara!

Thank you for the post about craigslist! I tried
to pull it up but it says that it has been deleted by the
author.
Maybe someone got to it before I did??

Thank you so much for helping me!! I really appreciate
it! :)
I've just got to keep looking!! :)

Corie:

I've been searching off and on for this toy since you posted your request (crazy I know but I love a challenge) and think I finally found it tonight. Here's the link:

http://www.agraturftoyshoppe.com/sho...ucts.asp?id=25

It's from a Canadian store so I'm not sure what additional costs you'll incur to purchase it.

Have you tried calling any tractor dealers or local farm goods stores to see if they carry it? That would be another avenue to try besides the 'net.

HTH,
Kathy

I searched a few more links and found this store in Washington:

http://www.valleytractor.com/catalog....php?cPath=1_9

I added it to the shopping cart and it did not say it was out of stock.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they have it for you!

Snatch it up wherever you find it. We got one for ds last year. Got it home and it didn't work. The toy store didn't have anymore and put us in touch with the rep for the company that makes them. At that time they'd discontinued the product so didn't have any more to send us.

I forget the name of the company that makes toys for John Deere, but a huge thumbs up for their customer service. They promptly sent us a tractor to replace our weed trimmer - didn't even ask for proof of purchase or for the defective toy back!

Oops! Just saw that you already know it's no longer being made. Sorry about that - I"m not quite awake yet this a.m. Toys R Us sells Home Depot equipment for kid; not sure if they have a weed trimmer but wanted to mention it as a possible alternative. Good luck.

Default Thank you, Kathy!!

Kathy,

I just sent an email to this store asking them if the
John Deere weed trimmer toy is still available.
And, I asked them about the shipping cost to Texas.

Thank you so much for your help!! :)
