Default Ryan's Room Firestation & Fire Engine

I was wandering around Tuesday Morning and found the Ryan's Room Firestation and Fire Engine for about $50. Anyway, I remember ladies raving about this stuff on the boards here so I got all excited and bought them both.

So my question is - if you have the Firestation/FireEngine, how old was your child when s/he started playing with it? And are they really really into it or is it just one of those toys that is good for a little while? My DS is 17 months old - should I wait until he's a bit older and showing a preference for fire engines (or dinasaurs, or dolls, or whatever)? I don't want to 'force' him into a love of fire trucks. Am I overthinking things??

Thanks!
Andrea
