Default Where do you have your play kitchen?

Play room/area or in your kitchen?

We have a family room attached to our kitchen, so I thought it might make sense to put the kitchen (two pieces) in there and/or the kitchen itself to occupy dc while I cook. Or it go into our basement family room, where we could use another "big" toy to keep dc occupied.

Anyone?

We don't have room downstairs in this house to we keep it upstairs in her playroom. We do have a little M&D "stove on a tray" with some wooden pans that we keep in the kitchen so she can cook along beside me when she wants.

I keep mine in the dining room, just outside the kitchen so ds and I can cook at the same time.

I wish we had a playroom! Our play kitchen is in the corner of the family room, which is also visible from our open kitchen. The family room and kitchen are the most occupied rooms in the house, so it made sense for us to have it there.

Ditto on the Dinning room. DD now calls the dining room a play room. There is still a dinning room table in there and can be used but hasn't been used in probably a year...

In the kitchen. It used to be in our small playroom, but got moved into the kitchen during a reorganization. It works well there because the kids can "cook" while I do the same.

Ours is in the dining room, which opens to the kitchen. DC love to "cook" while I am cooking. I often give them a bit of dried pasta, beans, rice or veggies to cook with, whatever I happen to be making. They really enjoy cooking real food!

In a corner of the living room. We have a very small house. :-)
