Does anyone have any experience with this company? They seem too good to be true!
CedarWorks and Rainbow are really out of our price range, regardless of how much I try to convince myself they aren't. But this company is all redwood (I don't have a preference between redwood and cedar) with a lifetime warranty, money back guarantee, and WAY less than Rainbow or CedarWorks. Their website shows lots of testimonials and awesome pictures of sets in yards... but I don't normally trust testimonials from a company's own website. Any feedback would be much appreciated! |

I have no experience with them personally, but I did take a look at the site and "designed" a pretty simple playset. They do have a great warranty and guarantee, but I thought it was just as expensive as similarly sized sets from Rainbow or Cedarworks.
Maybe I am missing something. But for much less I could get a nice wooden set from Costco or even Toys r Us. Am I doing something wrong?? Once I added slides and swings and ladders, the set was almost $2000 and was nothing fancy. The one at Costco is $1200 and much nicer... Good luck! |

I'm not fond of the Sunray from Costco, and I was going to order a Play-A-Round, but there is something about it that bothers me.
For a comparable playset from Rainbow or CedarWorks, it would be at least $1200 more (and most likely more than that) than the Kid's Creation. They're having a sale right now, and claim to have 40% off. I can get a very nice set from them for under $2000, and add onto it later (something I can't do with the Sunray or Play-A-Round). Plus it would be smaller, which I like. Also, my son has a platelet disorder and bruises really bad, and a fall could be pretty dangerous for him. The KC almost completely encloses the tower, which is great. And I can add him a tire swing, which I can't do on CedarWorks without getting the monkey bars (which I don't want), and can't do with Rainbow at all. I emailed the company and got their catalog. It looks awesome. Hopefully I hear back from them on my specific inquiries. Edited to correct spelling |

I do like that the tower is pretty much enclosed, I would have a nervous breakdown circling the playset if it was very open.
I guess I am really off on the cost of the Rainbow and Cedarworks, probably because they cost more than a lot of people's cars!! Back to the drawing board, if you do decide to get one, would you mind sharing the design and approximate cost? Thanks a bunch! |

I put one together online with a ramp, slide, rock wall, 2 swings, and a tire swing for a little over $2000. Not sure if that's what we'll go with, but it's half the price of a comparable CedarWorks, and way less than Rainbow.
I also really like their online designer. It shows you what you're building in 3D, instead of on a grid, and it lists the specifications and cost of it as you build. I previously thought the CW builder was great, but this is way better! That one is on a grid (though you can load it as 3D after you save it) and you have to email someone for the price and specs. Also, they claim their products are going up in the four hour range for most things, BIG difference from 18-24 hours for Sunray and 12 hours for Rainbow and CW! |

We actually do have a Kids Creations set. We love it. It is built with all the same size wood as a rainbow and it was fairly easy to put together. If you call them you can set up an appointment with someone in your area to see it first hand. Any other speceific questions just ask.
