Safe Embrace I

Does anyone know where to buy the Fisher Price Safe Embrace car seat? (The original, non latch-compatible one) My son is 2 months old and 15 lbs (already!) and we need to start looking for a convertible car seat A LOT sooner than we expected!!!I know Fisher Price has discontinued these car seats, and they seem to be sold out everywhere, including babiesrus.com and dmart. I would rather not spend the extra $$ on the Britax, since both the Fields and consumer reports like the Safe Embrace. Anyone have any success recently in finding this seat, or am I too late? I live in the Houston area if anyone knows a local shop!

I live in the Houston area also and I saw one on clearance at the BabiesRUs in Katy (it's at Fry Rd and I-10)for $69. It had a couple of holes in the cover but you might be able to get a replacement cover from fisher price. I'd call to see if its still there...I saw it on Monday. Hope this helps...
