Hi - I just wanted to check (after everyone is raving about the FP SIV and that amazing shoulder strap) - I don't think that you can use the FP SIV with a Combi stroller (we have an Ultra Savvy)...is that right? If so, bummer...

I don't know - I'm not as good with the strollers. Try posting this question over on the Stroller board. I'm sure they will know! And then let us know.

Well, I called Combi and the Savvy strollers are NOT compatible with the FP Stay-In-View (I suspected so b/c the angle on the FP is quite different than most standard infant seats). It is compatible with all Evenflo, Century and Graco seats.
Bummer for me b/c I love the Ultra Savvy stroller so I'm working in those parameters, but to many others it will not matter! akc |

Do you know of any stollers that the SIV is compatible with?

The SIV fit snugly into my Graco MetroLite, with the stroller seat-back lowered all the way down.

I would suggest maybe looking into a different infant carrier to fit in the Combi US. You will use your stroller a lot longer than your infant carrier. I LOVE my US & I would never part with it. It is the best lightweight stroller on the market. I bought the 2001 model at babyage.com for $170. With coupon codes you could save a little more. My Graco Snugride is an excellent match & recommended by Combi.
Just a thought. Good Luck! |
