Default Does Britax Marathon fit Jetta Wagon?

I'm pretty sure that I've heard that the Marathon fits both forward and rear facing in a Jetta wagon. My husband however would like me to confirm this prior to our buying one. I can get a good deal on one at The Right Start if I act quickly so if anyone can confirm this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Default RE: Does Britax Marathon fit Jetta Wagon?

Yes it fits, both rf and ff. Which way will you be using it? I ask because if rf it will push your front seat up a little but both my husband and I (4.5") height difference can drive with the MA rf behind us. Second, if you use it rf and want to tether you must decide if you are willing to use the bar under one of the front seat as a tether point. We do and have no problems doing so. If you would like a picture of the MA rf, email me at brenyn at netzero dot net and I will send it to you.
