I just spoke to a Graco Customer Support specialist about their 2004 carseats. The Graco Comfort Sport 8630 (pattern Kimburton-only at BRUs) is the only Graco carseat with "graco pedic foam," which I was told is the foam used in motorcycle helmets. Until now, I believe that only the Britex carseats and the Evenflo Triumph 5 have this foam (among convertible carseats).

Hi!
I work at BRU and we do have the Kimberton Comfort Sport. However, the Graco Pedic foam is not EPS(helmet) foam. It is actually just like Tempur-pedic foam, like the stuff NASA makes. The basic idea is that it forms to the baby and makes the seat more comfortable. It is also only in the bottom of the seat, not on the sides or back. Hope this helps! Jacky |
