Marathon in Mauvelous

I just ordered a Marathon in this color, and now I'm second guessing my choice. What do you think of this color? (Is it new? I don't recall seeing it before.) I just thought it was so pretty, but now I'm afraid DH will *hate* it! Oh well. I still like it, and I know Julia will too.

I have it, and I love it. I love the plush soft fabric.

It isn't new, actually it is an older color. Where did you order it? You may want to make sure it isn't part of the recall (mine was). If it is, it really isn't any big deal. You just need to get the replacement strap from Britax.

Thanks, Kerry. I just got it from Baby Universe, and it said it was a new item. How will I know if it was part of the recall? Look for dates?

I LOVE that color! I think it's so soft and pretty...don't listen when anyone tells you it looks like a bad bridesmaid's dress!

Any seat made after 7/23/04 is post-recall, and they probably wouldn't have sold you one that was not new or retrofitted with the new part (that's what stores do, fix seats that are recalled, it's standard practice and should be fine).
