Help, Outgrowing snugride?

Hi!
My littel one just had her 4 month appt and is 25 1/4 inches and in the 90th percentile! While this is great does that mean she is nearly out of her snugride? I believe that it is okay to use until 26 inches but I ahve heard you can use it longer if the child has longer legs and a short torso. Where should she be in the seat so I know it is okay? Is it okay until her shoulders go past the place where the shoulder harness is? I am planning on a britax but wanted to wait for the new ones to come out next month!

You can get the new Britax fabrics now.

As for the Snugride, there should be at least one inch of plastic shell (not fabric cover) above her head. If there isn't, it is time to buy your Britax!
