I was all set to go with the Scenera for dd's first plane trip next month, and then I remembered that the BBB(6th ed) recommends the ComfortSport. The consensus here seems to be Scenera... what are the reasons to go for one v. the other?
Also -- Which car seat cover should we go with that will fit these respective car seats and keep them protected during travel? |

The Scenera 5 point is really light, GREAT for lugging around or tossing in a stroller. That's its main travel perk, I think.
Its also longer lasting than the Comfort Sport because its taller. I'm not sure about the Comfort Sport, but the Scenera seems to fit great in a wide variety of vehicles. I remember reading that the CS's adjuster is hard/impossible to reach in certain cars when RF. And, its very inexpensive! ;) I used one for my oldest in DH's truck. I was very impressed with it. |

Scenera, hands down. WAY easier to use. Higher top slots for forward facing, WAY higher weight limit for rear facing (35 vs 30... could mean a YEAR or more of rear facing).
The ComfortSport has a handle. That's nice. But not nice enough for me to overlook the general suckiness of the seat. |

Scenera.
CS will be outgrown way before the Scenera. Also the CS adjuster cannot be reached RF and it requires oodles of pool noodles to get any kind of recline. I can usually get enough recline in the Scenera with just one noodle.

Thanks for alleviating my last-minute 2nd thoughts. I just order the Scenera from target.com!
